Mrs. Nyffeler's Bio


     Danielle Nyffeler was born in Joplin, Mo and raised in a small town in Southwest Kansas. She attended Fort Hays State University in 1992 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education is 1997. In 2001, she received a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Building Leadership from Newman University while she taught for the Dodge City Public School system for 7 years.  She moved to Omaha in 2006 to be closer to her family and began her career with the Omaha Public Schools at Jackson Elementary. She married Brandon Nyffeler in July 2009 and, together, they have 6 children Tia (18), Talia (16), Ryan (13), Taylor (11), Kaitlyn (10), and Carson (4). Tia will attend UNO in the fall and is a member of the UNO Cheer Squad, the others all attend Millard Public Schools. Mrs. Nyffeler worked at Jackson Elementary for 8 years where she taught K, 5th, & 6th grades. She has been an active member of Jackson’s Excel’s team, SSDS committee, Social committee, and New Teacher Mentor. She loves data and likes looking for areas of improvement and success.

     Mrs. Nyffeler enjoys walking, playing the piano, and reading a good book in her extra time. You rarely see her without a cup of coffee in her hand! She especially loves to attend her children’s many activities. Mrs. Nyffeler always looks for new and exciting ways to learn and prides herself on being a leader. She is so excited to join Wilson Focus School as a 5th grade teacher and meet the amazing students, families, and staff!
