Miss Muller's Bio
Sarah Muller was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up specifically in Millard where she attended Millard Public Schools and graduated from Millard South High School. She then continued her education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and graduated in December of 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Mild to Moderate Special Education.
Sarah was fortunate enough to student teach two semesters in two wonderful school districts. She spent her spring semester teaching 6th graders in the Papillion-La Vista School District at Parkview Heights. During her fall semester she taught 4th grade special education students at William J. Bryan Elementary in the Millard Public School District.
Upon graduating college, Sarah spent two and a half years substitute teaching in 5 school districts! She has been all over Omaha learning new techniques on how to teach, observing others and their amazing abilities, overcoming the challenges of being in a classroom for only one day or up to several months, exploring the wonderful and diverse kids of Omaha, and adapting to different curriculums of almost every grade level and subject area.
Sarah is extremely happy to be starting her teaching journey at Wilson Focus School. She is very excited to immerse herself in the wonderful school community that she has read and heard so much about. She hopes to learn new skills and talents from all the amazing students, teachers, and people in this little community. She is even more excited to pass along her talents and expertise to our future leaders of Omaha. She cannot wait to meet you all this school year!
